Copacabana Public School sets high standards for student success enabling all to reach personal goals. We create caring, socially responsible students equipped with technology skills for tomorrow. Copacabana PS is a recognised leader in technology, teaching and learning. Our students have access to interactive whiteboards, well resourced facilities and a website that is utilised nationally. Our positive student-welfare program allows all students to be rewarded for individual achievements and our engaging, vibrant learning environment caters for individual students’ needs and talents. We deliver quality education programs focusing on literacy, numeracy and technology with excellent results. We support students requiring assistance, transition to school and high school programs, outstanding sport and physical education programs and opportunities to participate in dance, music and drama. We have a welcoming, friendly atmosphere that provides strong links with our local community. Our values education program creates an atmosphere of mutual respect, acceptance and responsibility, with senior students participating in mentoring and leadership programs.

In December 2009, Copa Public School received the Director-General’s School Achievement Award for “Teaching in a technological environment”.
